They charged me 9.99 for some sort of insurance for a one time job, several months after the job, and did not tell me. No idea what sort of insurance this is and if they will keep charging me this 9.99 at their leisure. I am 63 years old and was not told of this. This is not a hidden charge we have a signed invoice clearly stating what the charge is for and detailed explanation. If you want to cancel simply call the office and let them know! A one star review for something you agreed to is definitely uncalled for. If you would like a copy of the signed agreement let us know. We would be happy to send that to you!
very disappointed in their service. we had a plumber out for a consultation. his water heater quotes were double of other companies. furthermore two hours after he left we had a home inspection who sited a leak. upon follow up Wingate never returned our calls to come back out and verify there was not one (or that is was missed). do not recommend.
Wingate responded to my service inquiry through Yelp. I had a leaky kitchen pipe and a clog or frozen pipes. I can only rate as to pricing. A plumber whose last name was Wingate showed up and quoted a price of $1796. He estimated it would take 3 hours and he could come back the next day to do the work. I said I'd need a second quote at that price. He charged me $89 for the quote, no diagnosis was given. Marilyn, first let me apologize for not having clear communication. I think we have a misunderstanding. We quoted to replace your entire stack and plumb in multi fixtures. Due to the condition of your existing plumbing this is what is needed to do the job right. If we do a job we do not do a temporary repair we want to do a permanent repair that we can stand behind.
