They tricked me to a poor construction with a very expensive price. Like buying a home, you always need an agent to take care of you. I made the big mistake of directly hiring Guyou construction and I paid a lot more without knowing my rights and options and received a non-optimal solar.

Review would be 5-stars based on exterior installation of panels and meters etc.. My suggestion to these installers is to get an inexpensive tarp and place it in the attic prior to walking, drilling and working on a project. Went up in my attic today and was disappointed to find wood shavings, shingle material and dirt all over my insulation and property stored in attic. A 10 minute tarp install would have prevented this mess! Little things matter ....

Guyou construction is one the worst solar installation companies, for multiple reasons: 1-I later found that they charged me %30 more compared to the competitors. 2-They had one of the worse designs, the installed a low slope system for me, it turned out the production dropped to less than half in a year. After every rain the amount of dried mud on the solar reduces the reduction to less than a half. DO NOT USE Guyou Construction - Avoid at All Costs I signed a $50,000 contract with Guyou Construction in August 2022 for an additional solar panel installation. The project involved installing customer-supplied inverter and batteries to complement an existing Tesla system. I was assured by the salesperson that even though their inverter was listed on the contract, we would be using my own. This turned out to be the beginning of a nightmare. If you want to be ghosted after having your solar panels installed, this is the company for you. I have sent numerous messages to the sales rep, Roland, and their technician over the past 3 weeks without response regarding exorbitantly high SCE monthly bills recently. I guess spending $50,000+ with Guyou Construction doesn't entitle me to any after installation customer service. Buyer beware!!

UPDATE to OWNER: Your statement is not true. I did talk to your associate after my review and explained my reasons. She agreed with me and my assessment. So don't understand when you say "I declined". That's completely false statement. Second, I did give him my utility bill. Plus everyone knows utility bill has nothing to do with providing a proposal. The guy who does sales calls is rude asked for my husband. Who i stated who I was and asked what this is regards to, he started speaking to someone else and hangs up on me. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH A COMPANY THIS RUDE. QUIT CALLING MY PHONE.
