These guys delivered what they promised and then some. They did the extra to do it right; not skipping just get it done. In and out the same day, house and garage. Neat and clean. Construction of a new valley, new decking, and back side of chimney is top notch. Looks good. Pleasure to deal with from the first call to the finish. I learned real quick there wasn’t much for me to do besides stay out of the way and let them do their thing. This crew did not stop from start to finish, they were always moving. Jim and Bob went WAY out of the way to assist us with an emergency issue to get us back on track! I can not thank them enough. I will recommend them to everyone I know. I am so very happy with my new roof from Barnes Construction Jim and Bob and the whole crew made this experience so carefree. I was so impressed with the crew and how meticulous they were with their cleanup. I would highly recommend anybody looking to get a new roof to give them a call
I live in Gladwin and Barnes Construction roofed my house in October 2025. They were trustworthy and did quality work at a fair price. The owner Bob Barnes personally inspected the crews work before the crew left the jobsite. I would highly recommend Barnes construction . Barnes construction re-roofer 4 houses in my neighborhood and they also re-roofed the Brook of Gladwin in October 2025.
Jim was excellent. He came out, assessed the damage on my roof; fixed it quickly and did it all a a very reasonable price. If you have a roofing job in Central Michigan; I encourage you to talk to Barnes Construction.
